Dirtbiking

I thought I had already posted these pictures from the end of August but I guess I never finished publishing it. Anyhow, we went camping one weekend with Jeff and Laurie's family and of course spent all weekend on the quads and dirt bikes. Just a few pics from the weekend. Jordan has figured out how to get on the bike and try to start it. Thank goodness he can't jump hard enough on the starter or he would be flying! Kailey loves her bike and Carson can't get enough of the mud. The picture of Carson is at the Falls where he was trying to scale the wall of a cliff. It wasn't easy with his dirtbiking boots on. Had he have been wearing runners he probably would have been very successfull. We had a great weekend and now we are back to school full tilt. Carson is loving football practices 3 times a week and he starts basketball this week. Kailey is doing a Rookie camp to swim competitively and is enjoying swimming every day. Life is back to full force crazy!

Gardening

The kids with the zucchini's we picked after we got home from the cabin. We made some delicious zucchini bread with them and shared them with our neighbours.

Summer Time

We just got back from our last trip to the cabin and are kind of sad that summer at the cabin is over until next year. We had a great time with the whole family and all of our cousins. Carson is now skiing on one ski, Kailey is becoming a great swimmer, and Sadie is the most graceful swimmer we know. Jordan just loves to get wet and throw rocks in the water.

Two more weeks before school starts and it is back to the old crazy routine of life. Carson starts football practice this week and is really excited about getting all of his pads and his uniform. For him it is all about looking the part. Lucky for him he can usually play the part as well.

Our garden is growing tons and when we got back we picked zuccini's that were huge! We also picked a bucket of beans and two buckets of peas. The kids love to reap the harvest from the garden.

We hope everyone is enjoying the summer as much as we are.
